A Letter to Myself

Prologue: A Letter to Myself

_by Zoori Jeong

Dear Me,

I don’t know how often I take the time to speak to you—to truly listen, to acknowledge all that you are, and to hold you with kindness. But today, I am here. I am writing this letter to remind you that you are not alone. No matter where you are in life, no matter what you are feeling, you are worthy of love, understanding, and patience—especially from yourself.

Life has not always been easy. You have faced struggles, doubts, and moments where you questioned your own strength. There were times when you felt lost, overwhelmed by expectations, or burdened by the weight of your own thoughts. And yet, here you are. You have survived every difficult day. You have grown through pain, found joy in small moments, and continued moving forward, even when it felt impossible. That, in itself, is proof of your resilience.

This letter is a gift to you. A space where you can breathe, reflect, and remind yourself that you are enough—just as you are. Through these words, I want to hold you gently, to whisper words of comfort when you need them, and to help you remember that you are always deserving of kindness, even from yourself.

So take a deep breath. Let go of the tension in your shoulders. And allow yourself to receive this letter with an open heart.

With love,

Me
